You’ll research a bit more than here to ski the Three Sisters Wilderness, I have only been in this area twice. These photos are from the late 90’s when I skied a few Volcanos with Jamie Schectman, Steve Reynaud, Stacy, and Jesse Hendricks. We timed our visit for when the Cascade Highway would open. Like Mt. Lassen, the Sisters Peaks are going to be suncups by the time the road opens. I have friends that live in Bend and rally in on snowmobiles to ski these peaks in better conditions. I tried to do a multi-day Three Sisters Traverse last spring with Marty and Danny from the shop. We waited until the access opened to Pole Creek campground, but the snow was suncup city and melted out on North Sister. We turned around after skiing some of the North and Middle Sister peaks. We did ski some good snow in spots and enjoyed one night out there. I know where one of my first sled accessed ski tours will be now.

the guidebooks I have for Oregon are BACKCOUNTRYSKI! OREGON by Christopher Van Tilburg, and Oregon Descents by David Waag.

We also now sell Oregon Ski Atlas From Alpenglow Publishing 48 Pages Studio By Dexter Burke – The BackCountry
